Dapper Stuff: 8 Boots That Make Me Look Forward to Fall

I adore summer and I'll be sad to see it go. I'll be sad to trade long, hot summer days spent basking in the sunshine for rainy, chilly afternoons that turn darker and colder day by day. But if there's one thing that makes me look forward to the the onslaught of autumn, it's boots. I've always had a weakness for boots - as you could see from this Throwback Thursday post - and the upcoming autumn season is a great excuse to start shopping for new ones.

1. BBC Men's Camo & Brown Boots from Fluevog ($275) I don't usually go for camo but these boots are telling me to be all that I can be.
2. Macalister Field Boots from J. Crew ($198) I love the color of these boots.
3. Desert Boots from H&M ($49.95) I'm so excited that H&M is finally offering online shopping. If only so I can buy these boots.
4. Light Brown Suede Boot from Bootsupply ($289) This is a dressier boot that would pair well with dark denim or gray trousers.
5. Missoni Suede Boots from Mr. Porter ($1,100) Although these are what I would call "investment shoes" I love their slouchy style and white soles.
6. Westly Wool Boot from Ugg ($160) A great casual wool boot that would be great with jeans.
7. Clarks Seam Trek Mid-Top Shoe from Urban Outfitters ($120) These are more like a bootlet but I love the caramel color leather.
8. Red Wing Heritage 6" Moc Toe from Zappos ($250) For those times when you're feeling extra manly, you can't go wrong with Red Wing boots.
