Neko Case's "Calling Cards" Lyric Video is Beautifully Nostalgic

Neko Case's album, "The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You," was one of my favorite releases of 2013. From the very first listen on the day it was released back in September, I identified a number of favorite songs. Among them was this one, "Calling Cards." It's sweet and wistful while also conveying a sense of longing. The Mister and I have been spending some time apart lately so this song really hits home.

Now, the "Calling Cards" has gotten a lyric video that utilizes old home movie footage. The style is a perfect fit for the song. It has the same sense of nostalgia and melancholy as the tune.
