Captain Dapper has always been mad for plaid.
In case you can't tell from the photo of me in the banner at the top of the page, I have a serious weakness for plaid shirts. Open my wardrobe and you'll find that more than half of my shirts feature a plaid or check pattern. It's verging on an addiction at this point. But what can I say? It's just the perfect pattern. Pair a plaid shirt with jeans and it's wonderfully casual in a lumberjack chic kind of way. Wear a check shirt with khakis for a more dressed up look. Add a tie and throw on a vest to give it a little attitude. Any way you choose to wear it, a plaid shirt is a must have for any wardrobe this fall.
