Dapper Stuff: 5 Favorites from The Guerrilla Truck Show

Captain Dapper loves a street fair.

The annual Guerrilla Truck Show is like a big, outdoor temporary gallery space. Box trucks are lined along Fulton Market to allow designers and artists to showcase their wares. The show is an interesting mix of art and commerce. Some trucks are little art galleries while others are showrooms for indie designers. The following are five of my favorites from the show:

I love these little three-legged tables from Twin City-based Woodsport Furniture. Colorful, simple and modern.

These colorful shelves come from Chicago artist David Greene. I like the simple shapes and, of course, the colors.

Squared Furniture has some great little wall mounted boxes that initially drew me into their truck. But this rocker by Tandem Made is the piece that really stole my heart.

Sadly, I didn't catch the name of the artist who created this Sears Willis Tower.

As an avid bike rider, I was delighted to get up close and personal with these cycles from Legacy Frameworks. Their bikes are made right here in Chicago.
